So Far This Year

This year has been pretty busy already for me, so apologies for not updating this page sooner. Over April a play by Hannah Khalil called “Scenes From 68* Years” performed at Archola Theatre. It was an absolute pleasure to work on, and I can say that the we couldn’t be any happier with how the run went.

The show contained several stories from Palestine, an epic snap shot into the the life there, then and now through stories that were drawn from Hannah’s family and friends.

An exciting element of the show was the use of Skype, enabling us to have an actor live from Palestine each show. I was also able to set up a Live Stream, so that people throughout the world could watch what we had created, and we were all surprised at how popular the stream became.

Thank you to everyone who came to see the show.

The other exciting news I can mention, is that Russell Howard will be performing some new material at Edinburgh Festival this year. I love going up to the festival, so am very pleased to be attending again this year. Tickets are already on sale, and can be brought clicking here.

Sadly the Horne Section will not be attending the festival this year, however we have recently announced several new tour dates, as well as another residency at Soho Theatre, were we are planning something different, which is sure to be hilarious. Tickets for Soho can be brought from clicking here, and tour dates for them can be found on there website

Finally, for the last few months I have been Sound Deputy for Goosebumps Alive, which is performing at Waterloo Vaults. It is absolutely incredible, and a wonderful theatrical experience. The show is running until the 5th June, and I cannot encourage you enough to go and see it. This is the type of work I love, and Daffyd Gough’s sound design is a work of art. Tickets can be brought from clicking here.
