What I've Been Up To

The last few months have been very manic for me, travelling a lot and working on various different projects, but every single one of them has been tremendous fun, and has gone down very well.

The Barrier finished it's run to a sold out audience and received some really nice reviews. It was lovely working with this new company, and hopefully it won't be too long until they put together another show. The Engineer's Thumb's second appearance in London also went down a treat. I am really proud with some of the changes we were able to make, and I'm sure this piece will continue to develop and improve as time goes on.

This month, I also spent a week and a bit in Manchester writing and recording with local guitarist Robert Morris (www.robertmorrisguitar.co.uk). It was nice being able to put my skills back into the pop music culture, and we were able to achieve some really nice tracks. As well as working on Rob's solo stuff, I also mixed his band's (A Devil You Know) new song Lost and Found. Hopefully some of the solo tracks we worked on will be available soon, but for now here's a demo of Lost and Found by A Devil You Know.

I've also been working hard with Curious Directive again on a short 7minute piece called "Faint Lines" for the Old Vic's Theatre Uncut Project. The performance is being performed on the 22nd November 2013.

Finally, I have been invited to go on tour with The Paper Cinema to help bring their interpretation of Odyssey to Georiga in the first week of December. I will post more details shortly, but I'm very much looking forward to heading overseas and working with this amazing company yet again!

Finally, I am designing ACS Random's Much Ado About Nothing which will perform at Park 90 from December 4th-15th 2013. This rendition is being set in Christmas 1945, and its proving to be a beautiful rendition. Tickets are available from Park's website (www.parktheatre.co.uk) so buy your tickets to the most exciting cocktail party around now!
